Departs: 8.30am, day one – Please be at the airstrip at 8.00am.
Returns: 4.30pm, day three.

Day One Includes:

Morning flight over:

Wilpena Pound & Ikara / Flinders Ranges National Park
Northern Flinders Ranges
The Birdsville Track crossing the Cooper Creek
Cooper Creek, East of Lake Eyre / Kati Thanda to Innamincka.
Lunch stop at Innamincka (lunch included).

After lunch:

Flight from Innamincka over Coongie Lake System to Birdsville.

Accommodation: dinner (two courses, from menu), bed (double or twin share rooms) at the Birdsville Hotel.

Day Two Includes:

Its an early start for a 4WD adventure (with guide) to the Big Red sand-dune on the edge of the Simpson Desert. Enjoy a cuppa while watching the sunrise, before returning to the Birdsville Bakery for breakfast.

After breakfast (included):

Board the aircraft, to follow the Diamantina South to Goyders Lagoon.
From Goyders Lagoon, follow the Warburton Creek South to Lake Eyre / Kati Thanda.
Fly down the full length of Lake Eyre (North and South).
Track over the Marree Man for Marree. Lunch stop at Marree (lunch included). Includes lunch from menu, and a choice of tea / coffee, water / juice / soft drinks.

After lunch, fly over the Flinders Ranges to land at the Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary.

Day Three Includes:

Start the day with a buffet breakfast (included).
The morning is spent on Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary’s signature experience – the Ridgetop 4WD Tour. Guided by Sanctuary guides, the Ridgetop Tour includes some of the most spectacular scenery in the Northern Flinders Ranges. Enjoy a cuppa and the famous Sanctuary lamingtons while gazing out over the mesmerising landscapes.

Return for lunch (included), from the Arkaroola menu, with a choice of tea / coffee, water / juice / soft drinks.

After lunch, transfer to the airstrip for a final flight over Ikara / Central Flinders Ranges National Park and Wilpena Pound before landing back at Rawnsley Park Station.

Note:
Maximum of 6 passengers.
Every passenger gets a window seat, and a headset to hear the pilot’s commentary pointing out scenic highlights.
We are unable to welcome on board any individual who weighs 130kgs or more.
