his flight takes you off the beaten track to explore Lake Benmore and New Zealand's largest earth dam! After flying over Benmore Dam, we land at Omarama for lunch before returning to Pukaki Airport. his is our biggest adventure. We are the only company offering an open-cockpit flight in a biplane over New Zealand's largest glacier and right next to our highest mountain - Aoraki Mt Cook. After flying up the western side of the turquoise-coloured waters of Lake Pukaki, we head up the Tasman Valley to the "white ice" to get an incredible photo opportunity looking down onto the Tasman Glacier. We then fly past the famous Hochstetter Icefall next to Aoraki Mt Cook and return down the eastern side of Lake Pukaki past Morgan's Island and the Tekapo B Power Station.
